ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the issue regarding the phasing out of the incandescent light bulb as the one of the topics discussed by legislators in the U.S. He said that some experts have suggested the use of compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL) as an efficient alternative for the bulb to be faced out. He suggests that despite the issue, the state and federal authorities should consider incandescent bulb as the greatest invention in the history of American commerce.
