In the U.S., Privacy Isn't Always Convenient, Or Wanted

The author reflects on the inconsistent behavior of Americans when it comes to the issue of consumer privacy. She argues that Americans have the tendency to want the convenience afforded by technology, ignoring privacy, yet they also want banks to secure their personal information and will hold them accountable for breaches. Moreover, she relates that the duality in the behavior of Americans on privacy issues is making it hard for banks to implement sound and effective security practices.
