ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the gun control, called the Our Lady of Peace Act in the U.S. He criticizes democrats Senator Charles Schumer and Representative Carolyn McCarthy of New York for pushing the Act in 2002, which places information into the national database of gun dealers to know the customer's psychiatric history. He asserts that the legislator should approve the bill, so that the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University massacre would not happen again.
