ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the use of Moxi Media Center, Digeo's cable set-top box platform that combines a built-in digital video recorder (DVR) with advanced media center capabilities in offering services to cable and satellite operators in the U.S. According to the author, if Digeo goes over the top and consumers like it, they will have an opportunity to buy it. Digeo is going to try to break beyond multichannel video distributors and appeal directly to consumers.
