ABSTRACT
The author reflects on an article by G.W. Keiser that was published in the January 2007 issue, and states that he is surprised to see that the book "Halsey's Typhoon" has a different version of the stack event. He says that he wants to establish that the scenario described in the book "Typhoon: The Other Enemy" is a factual account of the USS Dewey's (DD-349) experience in the typhoon.
