Forbes Asia;3/12/2007, Vol. 3 Issue 4, p37
The author reflects on the economic expansion in Japan. He notes that is seems difficult for many global investors to get very excited about Japan. The author believes that Japan is at the heart of Asian growth and many of its companies represent a smart, quality play on overall economic expansion in the region. He cites evidence which seems to warrant some optimism as Japanese seem to be slowly allocating more cash to stocks.
