ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the use of computer systems in the information technology (IT) industry. The last 40 years have witnessed a steady transformation in the way computers are used in the industry. The number of computers used by firms has increased a lot. End-users are now able to build feature-rich web sites by using blogs and web sites that host images, audio and video applications.
