ABSTRACT
The author reflects on comprehensive HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)/AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) surveillance in the U.S. It is said that surveillance of diagnosis of HIV non-AIDS, concurrent HIV/AIDS, and people diagnosed and presumed to be living with HIV can be virtually completed by HIV reporting and laboratory reporting requirements.
