ABSTRACT
The author reflects on how to promote the importance of foodservice to corporate executives. He states that the executives must read the periodical "FoodService Director" (FSD) to gain insight into the foodservice operation. The periodical was redesigned to make it more operator-driven. There is a possibility that executives will have more respect for the challenges and benefits of serving high-quality food to employees, patients and students if they will read the magazine.
