Computerized diagnosis of emphysema

The author reflects on the significance of computer-based machines for diagnosis on patients with pulmonary emphysema which showed accurate and reproducible measurements. The said computerized diagnosis are employed to assist the professional skills of radiologists, the author emphasizes. Moreover, the author cites that radiologists use density mask as an algorithm method for the quantification of visually demonstrable pulmonary emphysema and to make visible in computed tomography images.
