The author discusses the business perspectives offered by the Contemporary Design Group (CDG), a group of young retailers, in its annual conference. The author states that CDG is ahead in design trends and consumer preferences and that if challenges raised in the conference were addressed, the industry could forward the business. The challenges include problems related to distribution and delivery timetables. The author opines that the key to success is meeting customer needs in a better way.
