ABSTRACT
The author comments on the new initiatives by the Australian Wine & Brandy Corp. which can be used to identify market opportunities in the Australian wine industry. The first initiative is the continuing development of the new Directions for the Australian Wine Sector industry strategy. The second initiative is the refocusing of the Corporations' Wine Australia Market Programs and the development of four themes or sub-brands for the promotion of the quality and diversity of Australia.
