ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the conditions of the furniture business in the U.S. in 2007. The author sees even more challenges and new ways of looking at the business in 2007. For instance, the industry is in the midst of a shakeout, a redefinition of how business will be done in a fast-changing world. One of the biggest challenges is to figure out the roles suppliers and retailers will play.
