ABSTRACT
The author presents his views on the strategic ways to attain economic development in Indiana. Based on the results of the study which explored the relationship between intellectual capital and rising wages, higher education and innovation are the best predictors of a strong economy. He asserts that investments must be in the cutting-edge research capability of university programs that attract top talents to produce intellectual capital.
