ABSTRACT
The author argues that Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell has the right solution to the economic problems of the state. The operating budget of the state has been rising faster than virtually any other state's in the Union. Blackwell vigorously fought his party over taxes and spending. He also has spoken eloquently about the need to slash and simplify taxes.
