The author reflects on the proposal of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers concerning the installation of Breathalyzers in automobiles to detect drunkenness among drivers in the U.S. He expects that libertarians will argue that the proposal is biased to drivers who have never been convicted of drunk driving. His other concern is the process of the collection of data from onboard blood-alcohol measurement devices.
