ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the importance of the streetlight and access points (AP) in the installation of a wireless broadband system. He emphasizes the need to assess the accessibility of the pole where AP can be placed. Aside from its use for wireless broadband system, APs can facilitate automatic meter reading system operation by polling the meter system automatically.
