ABSTRACT
The article discusses the complex interaction of controls and equipment in modern buildings. Atmospheres rife with potentially harmful communicable diseases, allergens and irritants are created by frequently high population densities in commercial and institutional buildings such as schools. Controls contractors are observed to be the ones deciding on design details of a building.
