ABSTRACT
The article relates the racial prejudice made by a bodyguard against Africans during the assassination of a South African prime minister in Johannesburg in 1960. The bodyguard surveyed Africans for possible menace during the prime minister's visit in the capital. He fainted when he learned that the assassin belongs to the white race.
