ABSTRACT
The article stresses the importance of contingency planning to the financial services and insurance meetings industry. There is a need to objectively identify crises in designing contingency plans. Financial services and insurance meeting planners should consider emergency preparedness as part of their jobs. Attendees at a meeting of the Financial & Insurance Conference Planner stressed the need to work together to overcome dire circumstances.
