ABSTRACT
The author focuses on the advantages of working in a city planning agency in the U.S. It was stated that executives working in such agencies can do things beyond regulation. The author believed that both spatial aspect and the placemaking aspect are critical to planning. City planners need to know how to regulate well and fairly.
