The author reflects on the Hispanic Retail 360 Summit held in August 2006. He suggests that the best way to understand and serve a certain type of customer is to be that customer. He points out that grocers do not seem to see it quite that way. He emphasizes the aim of the summit. He discusses the purchasing power of Hispanics in the retail market.
