Jenkins, Matt
September 2006
High Country News;9/18/2006, Vol. 38 Issue 17, p25
The author reflects on the Global Warming Solutions Act, which was passed by the Democratic state legislators in California. This reverses the Western exceptionalism belief with regards to their immunity to the world's problems including global warming. He claims that if the Western myth continues, it will be a cause of destruction to the place which people loves. He also refers to the Act as a major lead against global warming.
