The author comments on the installation of a wet collector in a plant. He observed that the inlet duct was not connected to the body of the unit but in the center of the inverted cone. The location of the duct would result in a high-velocity air stream rotating around the interior of the cone. He stressed that to make sure an installation is made according to the design, it should be inspected and approved before the final payment is made.
