ABSTRACT
This article focuses on Iran's role in the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert should take this opportunity to negotiate with Iran face-to-face. Hezbollah has been damaged in this war and Iran, desperate to avoid losing Hezbollah as an effective surrogate, may be willing to sit down with Israel and negotiate.
