ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the importance of convergence and how mobile phones will rule the digital music market worldwide. He stresses that digital music has entirely molded the music buying and listening habits globally through download of songs into music-enabled devices. He believes that customers are not only latched on convergence but are also clamoring for more of it, and that music-enabled devices but are set to be the core of future digital music composition.
