One of the main concerns of mobile operators in relation to the growing popularity of 3G mobile data services is that the cost of wireless backhaul is becoming a huge ongoing operational expense. A report released by Yankee Group finds that mobile service providers typically devote about 30% of their revenue to technical operations.
