ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on seasons, which are related to science, and the opportunities of child development offered by each season. Seasonal transitions take place in all countries. They give many opportunities to children to explore science. The author gives information about the current issue, which she says presents a new way to think about plants as tools of inquiry. With the help of themed articles, one can see the development of children's understanding as they build more and more insight by asking inquisitive questions. Whatever the season, the lure of inquiry among children is strong.
