ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the 2006 conference of the New Zealand Farm Forestry Association in Ashburton, New Zealand. He praises the organizers of the conference. He suggests a number of ideas that would aid the association. He believes that the current conference format cannot continue because of the declining number of members.
