ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee's endorsement of an immigration bill that may change the labor system in the country. The bill seeks to legalize illegal immigrants living and working in the U.S. while offering them chances to eventual citizenship. Also, the judiciary committee's measure would establish a temporary guest worker program enabling some 400,000 foreign nationals to work in the U.S. every year.
