In one of the paper Jim Mitchell, president of Mitchell Design Group, Irving, Texas, agrees, adding that operators need to remember they are not spending money for nothing, but are instead trying to attract people. The better the store looks, the more customers they will get. In another paper the author states that a convenience store's primary aim is to get customers in and out as quickly as possible.
