ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the development of a version of the journal titled "Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism." It argues that the editorial leadership has been the cornerstone of the journal throughout its history and this remains true until today. It recognizes the relationship of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology with the NRC Research Press.
