ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the incidents from the living environment of the hurricane Rita-devastated Louisiana. It observes that Horseshoe Lake is tucked behind a levee with a gravel road. The news broadcast was all about obituaries. The Central Louisiana police departments received a double whammy when thousands of Katrina victims from the southeast and Rita victims from the southwest surged to their area and remained there. For planting trees area is to be dug two times the size of the root mass of fledgling trees and the soil around the hole must be loosened.
