ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the Bank Administration Institute's Retail Delivery (BAI RD) show. The main attraction of the show was Microsoft Corp. chairman Bill Gates' address to the financial industry. Over the years, presence of visionaries like Oracle's Larry Ellison, Sun Microsystems's Scott McNealy and Virgin's Richard Branson, at the BAI, made it special. This year also, it was BAI's intellectual capital that attracted bankers in droves to the show. Some of the companies that attended the show were IBM, Microsoft, S1, NCR, Diebold and Compaq.
