ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the phenomenon of do-it-yourself activities in the U.S. Millions families have used their hands in doing household activities like making simple bread boards to major repairs. Several good reasons are brought by this activity. Some householders are doings extra jobs that they could not afford to pay while others are earning by doing them. However, a survey by the American Mutual Liability Insurance Co. showed a disturbing number of home workers who get hurt.
