The article reports that a group of finance officials from museums around the U.S. convene at the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C, with industry professionals and look at how museums from the Smithsonian Institution to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have incorporated the municipal bond market among the financing tools in their collections. Institutions' market access varies based on their size, their corporate structure, and their levels of fundraising and investment success. In addition to the institutions and market professionals, this forum benefited from the participation of Aseem Nigam of the District of Columbia's Revenue Bond Program in the Executive Office of Mayor Anthony Williams, which has served as a conduit for several of the institutions to bring bonds to market.
