ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Asian unity. If the Bandung Conference accomplishes its purpose the world will learn that a new Asia and a new Africa have been born and are bound together in a new alliance by a common heritage of rebellion against white colonial rule. It seems probable that to most Asians this scene presented an exciting contrast to the United Nations where the West sets the course of debate and Asia's largest nation is denied its rightful place. Most Westerners have hoped that this second quest would fail. The hope was expressed in innumerable articles whose burden was that Asian solidarity is an empty concept.
