ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the prizes being announced by the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology for its annual residents' contest. The authors of the award winning articles are rewarded with a cash prize, courtesy Schering Corp. The winning articles are being selected on the basis of their scientific merit, clarity of writing and thoughtfulness of presentation. The first prize of $1000.00 was won by Brett Coldiron and co-authors for their article "Epithelioma Cuniculatum of the Thumb: A Case Report and Literature Review." The second and third prizes of $500.00 and $300.00 respectively were won by Matthew H. Kanzler and co-authors, Richard Fleming and Neil Brody for their respective articles.
