This article comments on the increasing price of home heating oil in the U.S. It discusses how the President Jimmy Carter administration is addressing the problem, the economics of high heating oil prices and the effects of the high oil price on the people in the U.S. A description of legislative bills governing heating oils that were passed before the Congress is given.
