ABSTRACT
The article focuses on polyphenols which are a group of plant secondary metabolites. Topics include flavonoid subgroups such as anthocyanins and flavonols; expansion in polyphenol research up to plant phenolics such as phenolic acids; and XXVIIth International Conference on Polyphenols and the 8th Tannin Conference held collaborately in Nagoya, Japan in September 2014.
