ABSTRACT
This article focuses on financial planning web sites in the U.S. Some of the websites are: www.fpanet.org/fp.week/index.cfm, Financial Planning Association (FPA) is celebrating its first-ever National Financial Planning Week October 7-13, 2002; FPA will unveil a new look and improved functionality for its Web sites. Enhancements include a redesigned gateway page (www.fpanet.org), a new site for the public, a redesigned site just for members and other financial planning professionals; www.fpanetorg.click.on.Members-Only Information, FPA continues to review and assess insurance benefits for its members. Currently, members have access to two different disability insurance programs and major medical, long-term care and group life insurance programs; www.fpanet.org/gov/taxes/stateconformitymatrix.cfm, FPA has posted a matrix on its Web site to summarize current state tax conformity status in relation to the 2001 federal tax cut. The matrix updates the conformity status of each of the states and should be of interest to members in the tax, estate, and educational planning areas.
