ABSTRACT
The article presents a conference calendar related to educational programs for learning disabled children. The College of Optometrists in Vision Development (C.O.V.D.) will hold its 3rd annual conference October 25-28, 1973 at the Marriott Essex in New York City. C.O.V.D. is an educational and professional organization of optometrists concerned with the development and enhancement of vision and its relationship to scholastic and vocational efficiency. The First Annual Northern Wisconsin Learning Disabilities Workshop, sponsored by Nicolet College and Technical institute and the Northern Wisconsin ACLD, will be held in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, September 28-29, 1973. The 4th Annual Forum on Learning Disabilities will be held October 13-15, 1973, at Arizona State University and Howard Johnson's Hotel in Tempe, Arizona. The forum, offering 18 hours of educational credit to optometrists is open to the general public on the first day of the event. The Child Evaluation Clinic, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will hold its 5th Seminar on Saturday, October 13, 1973. The topic is "The Brain and How it Works."
