ABSTRACT
The article presents an analysis of the proposal to create a stock exchange in Laos to achieve a financial sustainability and to support future development projects. It states that Laos and Thailand have agreed to collaborate to create the Laos stock exchange. Laos has also interacted with South Korea to develop a bourse. The author believes that the country's stock market has a bright future and stock exchange plans may bring further investments to the nation.
