ABSTRACT
The article forecasts the political and economic conditions, and the performance of the business sector in Estonia for 2007. Relations between Estonia and Russia remain tense following Tallinn's decision to reject an application from Russian-Germany company Nord Stream. The annual rate of consumer price inflation reached a nine-year high of 7.2% in September. Merchandise exports increased by 5.8% year-on-year in January-August.
