The article highlights the economic condition of Cambodia. According to the author, the economy of the Cambodia remains heavily dollarized which means that effectiveness of monetary policy is very limited. He added that the high degree of dollarization means that the National Bank of Cambodia has little control over prices. He emphasized that the underdevelopment banking system of Cambodia limits the effectiveness of monetary policy.
