The article reports on the strong export growth of the Czech Republic. The country's export growth has remained strong during the first five months of the year. According to data provided by the Czech Statistical Office, total merchandise exports increased from January to May. Automobile exports, however, experienced a considerable slowdown. A significant increase in the year-end trade balance is forecasted. The factors that would contribute to the export growth are discussed.
