ABSTRACT
The article discusses the political, economic and business risks surrounding Slovakia. Coalition government, membership to European Union and stable political institutions support the political risk rating of the country. The performance of the koruna in the global financial market is estimated to influence the country's economic performance. Meanwhile, an investment law designed to maintain foreign direct investment is speculated to affect the business sector.
