ABSTRACT
The article presents an economic outlook for Poland in 2007. During the first half of the year, monetary financial institutions (MFI) that provide loans to domestic residents increased in an average of 26.7 percent. The author forecasts that households will encounter only limited refinancing risks despite the continuous increase in domestic credits. Moreover, the decline in non-performing loans banking sector depict the improving strength of the country's banking industry.
