ABSTRACT
The article presents a summary of risks faced by the Czech Republic. With regards to politics, the government is likely to be challenged over the coming months. The author said that the coalition could be faced with further declines in its popularity because of the far-reaching reforms to the health care system and ongoing support for the U.S. missile defense shield. Meanwhile, the car manufacturer Skoda has increased its production forecast for 2007 behind the rising demand for its vehicles.
