Country Report
The article reports on the performance of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in Bangladesh. The General Index of DSE closed at a fresh 10-year high on June 14, 2007. It is inferred that the highly uncertain political climate in the country is the key risk for the index. The authors feel that an increase in budget for fiscal year 2007 to 2008 will be unsustainable.
